As a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, I support women in understanding their situation at the moment of a gynaecological diagnosis — through clear medical guidance and personal dialogue. The aim of my consultations is to enable my patients to make informed and independent decisions regarding the management and next steps of their treatment.

Professional Profile

As a long-standing Clinical Director with extensive surgical experience and recognised expertise in minimally invasive surgery, pelvic floor medicine and oncology, I offer a broad spectrum of gynaecological care — differentiated, stepwise and guided by current clinical evidence and recommendations.

My work focuses on four core specialist areas:

Functional Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Medicine
Chronic and Hormone-Related Conditions
Gynaecological Oncology and Breast Medicine
Obstetrics

Surgical Expertise

My work has a strong surgical focus, particularly in:

  • Minimally invasive surgery (MIC II certified)
  • Robot-assisted procedures
  • Organ-preserving and reconstructive surgery
  • Individualised surgical concepts tailored to each diagnosis

At the same time, conservative and non-surgical alternatives are always considered. Surgery is an important part of my work, but it is not necessarily the first option.

Philosophy

“I do not simply want to inform my patients — I want to empower them to make confident and informed decisions about their health. My aim is for every woman to understand what is happening within her body, what options are available, and to feel actively involved in decisions regarding her care. To me, empowerment means transforming a medical process into a shared responsibility — transparent, understandable, and based on partnership.”

Let’s Start
the Conversation

Every medical treatment begins with a discussion about your current and previous symptoms, medical history and relevant life circumstances. Your concerns and previous experiences are equally important.

Listening is not merely a formal part of the consultation process — it often provides more valuable diagnostic insight than technical investigations alone. It helps me understand not only your symptoms, but also the person behind them.

Based on this information, targeted examinations may follow where appropriate. Sometimes a physical examination and ultrasound scan are sufficient; in other cases, additional imaging, laboratory investigations, functional diagnostics or even diagnostic surgery may be necessary to gain certainty.

Each of these steps serves one shared goal: to create clarity and establish a safe, reliable and appropriate diagnosis.

The journey from the first description of symptoms to a final diagnosis is therefore not simply a technical process. It is a careful and structured pathway built on trust, attention and the genuine desire to provide the best possible support.

However, medical clarity alone is not enough.

A diagnosis does not merely name a condition — it can change perspectives, raise questions and require important decisions. This is where another equally important step begins: recognising your own strengths and supporting your confidence and health literacy.

Individualised treatment concepts can sometimes be complex.

You can rely on a high level of medical expertise based on many years of clinical experience, specialist training and the consistent integration of the latest scientific evidence into everyday practice.

Particularly in complex conditions, good medicine does not end at the boundaries of a single specialty. When symptoms are multifaceted, diagnoses affect several aspects of health or treatment decisions are far-reaching, more than one perspective is needed.

In these situations, a multidisciplinary and multiprofessional team will support your care. This collaborative approach allows medical, functional and personal aspects to be considered together in order to develop an individually tailored treatment plan.

The goal is not only to treat a condition, but to care for the individual as a whole and to provide the best possible support throughout the process.

A Space for Your Questions

Not every medical decision has to be made immediately. Often, the first step is simply gaining a better understanding of your own situation.

During a personal consultation, I take the time to answer your questions and help you understand which next steps may be appropriate for you.
